The Spray and Play DAO

When governance goes live, control of the protocol will transition from the core team to the community through a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO).

What Will Be Governed

Governance Principles

1. Token-Weighted Voting — Voting power proportional to SPRAY holdings

2. Transparent Process — All proposals visible on-chain

3. Timely Execution — Approved proposals execute automatically

4. Progressive Decentralization — Gradual transfer of control

Participation Requirements

To Submit Proposals

• Minimum 100,000 SPRAY tokens
• Hold tokens for 7+ days before proposing
• Pay proposal deposit (refunded if passed)

To Vote

• Any SPRAY token holder
• Voting power = tokens held at snapshot block
• No minimum required to participate

The Governance Lifecycle

1. Discussion Phase → Community debate on forums/Discord
2. Temperature Check → Informal snapshot vote
3. Formal Proposal → On-chain proposal submitted
4. Voting Period → 3-7 days for community votes
5. Execution → Automatic if passed & quorum met
